SUMATRA KERINCI: full-bodied, creamy, low acid, exotic spice notes, smoky, chocolaty, strong.

DESCRIPTION: Sumatra Kerinci Grade 1  is much cleaner and less earthy than most Gr. 1 traditional Sumatras. Fuller bodied and darker toned, it gives much cleaner (less earthy, peaty, muddy) chocolaty undertones, hints of acidity, soft fruit, and medium roast levels. 

TASTING NOTES: Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel, low acidity, and spot on tastes from a traditional Sumatra; exotic spice, smoky, chocolaty, and strong. A clean cup to get a decent smoother mouthfeel and has a bit of sweetness upfront, darker roasts will turn thicker but also edgier and promote the smokier, bakers chocolate, side of the profile.
